Hotel Aichner in Valdaora at the Kronplatz in South Tyrol.
Our house looks back at an eventful history, that began more than 50 years ago.

As early as 1960 Norbert Aichner's father and grandfather built Villa Schönblick in the municipality of Valdaora at the Kronplatz. At the time the Aichner family lived in the apartment on first floor of Villa Schönblick, consisting of the parent's bedroom, a children's room and a guest room. Already from 1961 the first rooms with breakfast were rented to guests. During the season Norbert Aichner and his parents slept in the kitchen so they could rent out all the rooms in Villa Schönblick. This made three rooms available to guests as early as 1961: two double rooms and a single room.

In 1969 Pension Aichner was raised in the place of today's Hotel Aichner and accommodated guests for more than a quarter of a century.

Only seven years later, in 1976, Residence Aichner was built only about 400 metres away and offers holidays with complete freedom and flexibility to our guests to this day.

Some 20 years later, in 1995, it was time for a facelift. Pension Aichner was torn down and today's Hotel Aichner was built in it's place. A spacious Aquapark was added to the hotel in 2002 as well as another extension building in 2004.
